Imagine the buzz of the electric bug zapper picking off chords, laying down riffs, and pounding out rhythms. Moth Magnet dances close to the dangerous blue light, leaving you glowing, tempted and ultimately alive.

Moth Magnet
Moth Magnet is Oakland-based, honest rock 'n' roll. Blending post-punk, indie, & shoegaze with heavy blips and intentional, mindful reflection.Raw Energy & Mindful Reflection
Moth Magnet represents the living, breathing evolution of Oakland alternative rock—where heavy grit, post-punk dynamics, and intentional reflection intersect. Powered by a core 4-piece lineup of two guitars, bass, drums, and single-lead vocals, the band confronts harsh truths through a blend of raw power and atmospheric calm.
Rather than rushing a studio release, Moth Magnet has focused on honing its craft in front of live audiences. The band is currently prepping a short demo release and laying the groundwork for a dedicated vinyl pressing ahead of their upcoming sessions at Tiny Telephone Studio with Beau Sorensen.
